Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python, AWS)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: 12 Months
Location: Galway, Ireland
Type: Hybrid (1 week onsite, 3 weeks remote)
Salary: €300 - €375 per day

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain advanced analytics solutions to process structured and unstructured datasets at scale
Rapidly prototype and deliver data-driven tools to support investment research
Collaborate with quant researchers, analysts, and other engineers in a highly agile, product-oriented team
Drive architecture and technical design discussions, balancing scalability and speed
Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
Participate in on-call rotation and own the reliability of your solutions

Experience and qualifications required:

10+ years of enterprise development experience
Advanced skills in Python, including data libraries like Pandas or NumPy
Strong understanding of RDBMS, SQL/PLSQL, and data processing pipelines
Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native tools
Solid grounding in object-oriented programming and data structures
Experience building Angular or React SPA applications (a strong plus!)
Familiarity with extracting data from REST APIs, working across both Linux and Windows environments
Comfort working on multiple tracks simultaneously, owning solutions end-to-end
A background in migrating applications to the cloud is an added advantage
