• Procurement Officer - Ariba Experience
• Basingstoke - Onsite 2/3 days a week
• 3-5 month contract
• £21.39 per hour - PAYE
• 7.5 hour day

My client is looking for a Procurement Officer to support the delivery of operational Procurement across source-to-pay (excluding invoicing & payments), acting as the primary point of escalation for procurement system and process queries, whilst leading initiatives to improve SAP Ariba (such as Ariba Guided Sourcing deployment).

Duties to Include but not limited to -

• Act as the primary point of escalation for the offshore procurement operations team, troubleshooting issues relating to Ariba system queries, purchase orders, goods receipts and supplier onboarding and deactivation.
• Lead initiatives to improve Ariba such as the deployment of Ariba Guided Sourcing
• Support the configuration, testing and implementation of Ariba system changes (ie approval flows, onboarding questionnaires and custom forms)
• Support ad-hoc project activities and administrative duties across the Procurement Operations team.

Capability, Knowledge, and Experience

• Strong technical and systems knowledge, with extensive experience using SAP Ariba (Essential)
• Knowledge of procurement processes (Essential)
• Strong Excel spreadsheets & data analysis skills.
