Network Engineer - 3 Month Contract (Scope for extension) - Inside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer/Smart Hands to join a 3-month contract based in Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in network operations and is confident with hands-on support and hardware work.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 3 months
• Location: Plymouth (on-site) - 4-5 Days Per week
• IR35: Outside IR35
• Day Rate: £375PD - £400PD

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end network operations, maintenance, and support, working across Cisco and Aruba technologies. The role involves both remote diagnostics and on-site Smart Hands support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Routing and switching (Aruba & Cisco)
• Hardware configuration, installation, and validation
• Supporting physical infrastructure and hands-on network tasks

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Cisco and Aruba networking equipment
• Deep understanding of routing and switching concepts
• Ability to manage hardware installations and configurations on-site
• Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working independently in a contract-based role
