SAP FI Revenue Recognition Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in SAP FI, specializing in Revenue Recognition, including hands-on knowledge of Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR) and Valuated Stock in Transit (VSIT) for "Sell from Stock" scenarios.

This is a contract position, starting in April till at least the end of the year.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring SAP solutions align with business objectives, especially across Sales & Distribution and Accounts Receivable.

Role
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to SAP FI Revenue Recognition, with a focus on EBRR.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to drive solutions that align with financial reporting and compliance needs.
- Support and enhance Sales & Distribution processes including Sales Orders, Deliveries, and Billing.
- Analyze and provide support for Accounts Receivable processes, particularly those impacting Revenue Recognition.
- Deliver expert-level support and configuration for Valuated Stock in Transit (VSIT) scenarios within Sell from Stock flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment, testing, and successful deployment of SAP features.
- Participate in or lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training sessions, and post-go-live support as needed.

Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working with SAP FI.
- Deep knowledge and recent hands-on experience with Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR) in SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding and real-world experience in Valuated Stock in Transit (VSIT) scenarios - Sell from Stock.
- Expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module processes: Sales Orders, Delivery, Billing.
- Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes as they relate to Revenue Recognition.
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications.
- Experience with system testing, documentation, and user training.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

The SAP FI revenue recognition expert can work majority remote, with some sporadic onsite work in Europe.
