Oracle EBS Developer - AVP
Location: London (3 days per week in-office)
Rate: £415 per day (via umbrella company only)
Contract: Initial 6 months (Likely to extend)
An excellent opportunity for a skilled Oracle EBS Developer (AVP level) to join a London-based financial institution on a contract basis. This role focuses on technical delivery and development within the Oracle E-business Suite R12, particularly across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on development, support, and enhancement of Oracle EBS R12 including interfaces, customisations, and reporting.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Oracle-based solutions, ensuring data and accounting integrity.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, technical solutions and technical specifications.
- Create, test, and deploy Oracle developments following AIM/OUM methodologies.
- Work on projects, system upgrades, and provide post-implementation support.
- Provide technical estimates and Oracle design input for system enhancements.
- Stay current with Oracle developments including OIC and relevant technologies.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience developing within Oracle EBS R12.
- Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, OAF, and Unix Scripting.
- Proven ability to develop and support financial modules including GL, AP, and FA.
- Experience with multi-org environments and Oracle development frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot, prioritise, and multi-task across complex projects.
Desirable:
- Exposure to APEX, AME, Java, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Prior involvement in full life cycle Oracle implementations.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Other Information:
- Office-based in London, with a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week.
- Some out-of-hours or weekend work may be required for production deployments.
- This role must be operated via an umbrella company.
