Community and Public Relations Specialist
The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an excellent opportunity for a Community and Public Relations Specialist. This employee will assist with the coordination and implementation of community and public relations effort for improved agency awareness, messaging and promotion.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementing assigned elements of agency Communication/Marketing Plan, as well as being accountable to the elements of the plan. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; knowledge of the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, desk top publishing, Powerpoint, Canva, and digital computer equipment preferred. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include: written, spoken, and multimedia communications platforms, including but not limited to video, web and social media and demonstrated organizational skills. Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry clearances. Ability to access worksite(s) required.
