Location: Remote (UK or US based)
Working Hours: US East Coast Time (offset patterns such as 10am-7.30pm likely acceptable)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 26 June 2026 but likely to extend
Rate: To be confirmed
We are seeking experienced Senior Infrastructure Development Engineers with strong OpenStack and automation backgrounds to support a large-scale cloud services initiative. This is a long-term, fully remote contract opportunity with a major international technology program.
Responsibilities:

Design and build technical infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible
-
Support both new and existing cloud services deployments
-
Troubleshoot complex authentication and infrastructure issues
-
Translate high-level technical designs into scalable network and platform architecture
-
Document infrastructure processes and procedures comprehensively
-
Work across cross-functional teams and support junior engineers as a mentor
-
Maintain high standards of output and quality in a fast-paced environment
-
Participate in global collaboration efforts, demonstrating strong intercultural awareness
Required Experience & Skills:

University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
-
6+ years of technical professional experience
-
Strong knowledge of OpenStack, Terraform, Ansible, and associated infrastructure tools

Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
-
Proven ability to work in complex, collaborative, and time-sensitive environments
-
Experience troubleshooting cloud authentication mechanisms
-
Analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset
-
Experience influencing others without direct authority
-
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed
-
Cultural awareness and adaptability in global working environments
-
Fluency in English is required; German is a plus

Knowledge of SAP and the SAP solution portfolio is a plus
