Application Packager (SC Cleared) - 2 months Contract - £350/day via umbrella company - Stevenage (Hybrid) - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Packager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and deploying workplace technologies, ensuring seamless application packaging and migration, and maintaining security and compliance standards in a high-security environment.

Your responsibilities as an Application Packager:

• Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to manage and deploy applications and updates effectively.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise with cloud-native technologies and architectures, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune/AutoPilot, M365, Cloud Identity (Entra), microservices, containers, and orchestration tools.
• Oversee posture control technologies to ensure organizational security.
• Manage the migration of user home drives to OneDrive, enabling remote working capabilities.
• Perform application packaging and compatibility testing using MSI/MSIX techniques, coordinating with end-users to test and resolve compatibility issues on Windows 11.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with project and program management personnel to understand migration phases from initiation to full deployment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, digital IT, and end-users to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any issues.
• Provide troubleshooting and ongoing support for the migrated environment to maintain optimal performance.

As a suitable Application Packager, you will have:

• Active SC clearance
• Experience in workplace/digital workplace technologies, migration approaches, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Proven skills in application packaging techniques and in facilitating user engagement for application testing.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance policies within a high-security environment.
• Experience with Microsoft MECM and OneDrive migration.
• Excellent project management skills to handle migration projects from start to finish.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Deep troubleshooting expertise to resolve migration and operational issues promptly.
