Active Directory Engineer

Whitehall Resources require an Active Directory Engineer to work with a key client on an initial 6 month contract.

*Inside IR35.

*Role will be largely remote with occasional visits to Newcastle area.

*Due to the nature of the client candidates will be required to be sole UK nationals to be eligible for this role.

Active Directory Engineer

Role Description:
. Key skills - Microsoft Active Directory/DNS/BIND/domain controller
. Ideal candidate is someone with 4+ years' experience as an Active Directory Engineer/Consultant.
. There are two requirement of this role; Domain Controller upgrade and DNS consolidation.
. Must have considerable experience working with Active Directory and upgrading domain controllers in a large multi-domain environment, spread across several regions. Must be able to complete the work with minimal hand holding.
. Must have considerable experience working with BIND and Windows DNS. The DNS work will involve consolidation of DNS zones and relocation to new Servers and providers.
. They will be working with various stakeholders so need to be proactive and a good communicator.
