Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Cornwall. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the continued performance, efficiency, and safety of asset-managed renewable energy installations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial PV systems
  • Monitor and review system performance via online platforms on a rota basis, including weekend coverage
  • Diagnose, record, and respond to system faults and performance issues using a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Provide technical feedback and insight to enhance ongoing site performance
  • Complete daily job reports and maintain accurate records of work completed

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working on commercial PV systems
  • Methodical, accurate, and process-driven mindset
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient with IT systems and software tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Training with inverter manufacturers
  • CAD experience
  • Experience in communications setup and configuration (eg, remote monitoring systems)
