Hosting Engineer - Commodities Trading - London

Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm seeking a Hosting Engineer to play an important role in driving automation across their technology department. You'll also help the team maintain a robust and efficient infrastructure environment, and aligning DevOps best practices and infrastructure-as-code principles.

As part of the Hosting team, you'll make sure DevOps best practices are best aligned, manage support, escalations, incidents and root cause analysis. You will also work closely with third parties to ensure that effective standards and procedures are adhered to.

Experience required:

• Ideally, you'll have experience working in a commodities/trading environment
• Must have experience in financial services
• Prior experience working in a Hosting Engineer or similar role
• Extensive experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git and other similar technologies
• Experience working in an enterprise environment with Cisco, VMware, RedHat and networking technologies
• Extensive experience working in a cloud environment, ideally Azure
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
