Application Manager (DV & NPPV) - £800 per day via Umbrella - 12-month contract - West Midlands (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking a DV & NPPV3 Application Manager to lead a team responsible for national application services.

Your responsibilities as the Application and Data Manager:

• Lead and mentor the Application Development and Data Teams.
• Manage and prioritize workloads according to service levels and ITIL best practices.
• Represent the team in meetings and project boards.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to stakeholders.
• Advise on various technologies as Kubernetes, containerization tooling, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
• Ensure smooth transition of new services from project to BAU support.

As the Application and Data Manager, you will have:

• Active DV and NPPV3 clearance.
• Service management of high-priority digital or technology services.
• Technical expertise in Kubernetes, containerization tooling, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
• Building and maintaining relationships with business users and senior stakeholders.
• Managing suppliers and their performance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Line management and leadership experience.
• Understanding of the Application Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and working to strict SLAs.
• Experience with application upgrades, patches, and failovers.
