Solutions Architect (SC + NPPV3) - £700 per day via Umbrella - 12-month contract - London Onsite - SCC Flex Contract

We're looking for a Solutions Architect who will provide technical vision, design, and leadership for a high-profile bespoke software solution. You will play a key role in understanding business, information, and technology needs.

Your responsibilities as the Solutions Architect:

• Design and develop technical solutions to meet both business and technical platform requirements.
• Provide technical direction and leadership to the project, working in line with current industry best practice.
• Provide a hands-on technical approach to take ownership of designs from a high-level strategic approach down to low-level design, configuration, and installation detail.
• Provide participation throughout the project life cycle, defining and refining requirements where required, through design and assisting in the transition through to production environments.
• Automate the build and deployment of emerging applications and services using the corporate deployment pipeline (where possible).
• Develop, configure, deliver, and integrate applications and services in non-production environments through to Production systems (using deployment pipelines where available), including creating all technical documentation.
• Provide support to 2nd line application teams where necessary in order to maintain critical service for applications, infrastructure, and services.
• Assist in the refinement of DevOps processes and tools

As a successful Solutions Architect, you will have:

• Large-scale Business Change and IT Transformation Programmes with law enforcement.
• SC and NPPV3 clearance - active
• Designing and integrating private cloud solutions with public cloud services.
• Hands-on experience of designing and integrating private cloud solutions with native public cloud services.
• Big Data, Elasticsearch stack, Kibana, RabbitMQ, Apache NiFi, ASP.NET Core 2.2, Microsoft C#, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Windows Server/Workstation, Active Directory, Group Policy, DevOps tooling (Docker, Nexus, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Jenkins, AWX), DNS, High Availability services, Linux (CentOS and RHEL), VMware vSphere & vCloud, Secure private cloud hosting environments, Networking protocols.
• Kubernetes, SIEM Tools.
