Flint Technology Services is seeking an experienced Nokia Next Gen SDM Specialist with strong expertise in HSS (Home Subscriber Server), HLR (Home Location Register), and 5G technologies to manage and optimize our next-generation subscriber data management systems. This operational role focuses on ensuring seamless integration, performance, and availability of critical subscriber data services across our 5G network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation, configuration, and management of the Nokia Next Gen SDM platform, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage and maintain the HSS/HLR systems, including user authentication, mobility management, and subscriber data handling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to subscriber data, HSS/HLR performance, and 5G infrastructure.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SDM services with 5G network elements and support network evolution.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on system performance, ensuring SLA compliance and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of subscriber data across HSS/HLR and 5G platforms.
  • Provide operational support for software upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to SDM systems.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Nokia SDM solutions, with a focus on HSS, HLR, and 5G network environments.
  • Proven experience in managing and operating subscriber data systems within large-scale telecom infrastructures.
  • Deep understanding of 5G architecture, including subscriber data management and integration points.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an operational environment.

This is a hands-on, operational role that requires an individual with a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex systems in a dynamic telecom environment.
