We're looking for an experienced HR Data Architect with a strong understanding of HR data models and direct experience working with Workday. This role is focused on transforming our current HR data landscape, improving structure, consistency, and usability.

You'll be responsible for designing and delivering a high-quality, well-organized data set that can support downstream reporting and analysis, as well as enabling a clean migration from Legacy systems to target platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current state of HR data and lead efforts to transform and standardize it

  • Design and implement a best-in-class HR data model, including descriptors, labels, and identifiers

  • Prepare data structures that support Workday workbooks and reporting requirements

  • Work closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure data design aligns with business needs

  • Support data governance, quality, and integrity initiatives across the HR data domain

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience working with HR data in complex environments

  • Strong knowledge of HR data models, especially within a Workday context

  • Hands-on experience physically transforming HR data, not just conceptual design

  • Familiarity with data migration processes, including source-to-target mapping

  • Attention to detail when defining data structures, naming conventions, and classification

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role is Outside IR35, and requires 1 day a week on-site in Birmingham.
