Senior Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities

• Design and implement Microsoft infrastructure solutions including MS365, Azure, and Active Directory
• Lead infrastructure migration projects using tools such as ShareGate, Robocopy, and Cloudiway
• Support and maintain enterprise storage systems including SharePoint, NetApp, and NFS
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution architectures
• Conduct technical workshops and advise on best practices for scalable infrastructure delivery
• Produce detailed documentation and handover materials for internal and third-party teams
• Troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to infrastructure performance and reliability
• Work with offshore support partners to ensure consistent delivery standards and service continuity
• Contribute to wider cloud and DevOps projects as part of cross-functional delivery teams

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar technical consultant role
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Azure, MS365, and Active Directory
• Strong track record of successful IT migration delivery across enterprise environments
• Hands-on expertise with ShareGate, Robocopy, and/or Cloudiway
• Experience with storage platforms like SharePoint, NetApp, and NFS
• Confident communicator able to lead client-facing workshops and technical reviews
• Skilled in stakeholder management across business and IT functions
• Experience working with offshore delivery or support teams
• High level of documentation, organisation, and process clarity
• Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic, fast-paced project environments
