Workday Finance SME - 6 months - Hybrid - Glasgow (Hybrid)

Join a leading financial client as a Workday Finance SME, responsible for overseeing the development and management of ERP systems, focusing on Workday Financials, HCM, Payroll, and integrations. This role involves leading end-to-end implementations of Workday, from design through to deployment, providing technical leadership across key modules, including Accounting and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Workday implementations, including design, testing, deployment, and support for HCM, Payroll, and Financial modules.

• Provide technical leadership for Workday Financials and HCM, including Accounting, Banking & Settlements, Budgets, Expenses, Projects, and Cash Management.

• Manage client relationships and provide expertise in functional areas, resolving support issues and guiding strategic road mapping.

• Ensure successful deployment and operational support of Workday HCM and Payroll modules.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to document requirements, map processes, and implement best-practice configurations.

• Lead system testing, quality assurance, and support the post-production phase with enhancements and troubleshooting.

• Work closely with the Delivery team, prioritizing and delegating tasks based on scope and urgency.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with end-to-end Workday implementations, including HCM, Payroll, and Financial modules.

• Strong expertise in core Workday Financials modules (Accounting, Banking, Budgets, Expenses, Projects, Cash Management).

• Proven ability to lead complex implementations and provide ongoing operational support.

• Experience in designing, testing, and deploying Workday configurations, ensuring best practices are followed.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply solutions effectively.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

• Location: Glasgow (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote).

• Rate: Up to £600 per day Inside IR35
