Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client within the Public Sector, who are seeking a Head of Commercial on an initial 6 month assignment (Inside IR35)

Location: London or York (hybrid)

NB: To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have been at Head of Commercial level (with 5+ years of recent experience). You'll also be able to demonstrate the value of the relevant projects you've worked on.

Essential
. Knowledge of the use and application of railway and/or construction industry conditions of contract
. Educated to degree level or equivalent and professional qualification
. Experienced staff manager and negotiator
. Demonstrate experience of resolution of construction contract disputes and robust post contract management
. Relevant railway and/or construction experience
. Knowledge of railway commercial contract management and estimating
. Demonstrable experience of actively building internal and external networks and partnering across functions and boundaries
. Demonstrable experience of coaching and addressing team and individual capability requirements
. Demonstrable experience of assessing the impact of decisions on customers, with consideration of value for money and business priorities
