Windows 11 Deployment Engineer

Type: 2 day contract (24/04/2025 and 25/04/2025)

Location: Cardiff

Rate: £160 (outside)

Overview

The Installation Technician will be responsible for the deployment of desktop devices. The role includes setup, validation, and reporting activities to ensure a smooth transition for end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy desktop devices to users' desks in accordance with company guidelines
• Conduct reporting, capturing:
  • Total number of devices deployed
  • Number of successful deployments
  • Number of failed deployments, including reasons for failure
• Validate end-user data through desk-side visits as part of the agreed end-user survey process

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in IT hardware deployment and installation preferred
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to deployment procedures
• Good communication skills for end-user interaction and survey validation
• Ability to work efficiently within the assigned shift hours
