Job Details and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager for Data Analytics Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical projects related to Legacy data platform migration, data lake build, and data analytics across multiple cloud platforms. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and technical acumen to ensure successful delivery of complex data projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage Legacy data platform migration (Teradata, Hadoop), data lake build, and data analytics projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and IT professionals, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and expertise on data migration strategies, data lake architectures, and data analytics solutions.
• Ensure best practices in data management, data integration, and data security are adhered to throughout the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake experts to leverage cloud capabilities and ensure optimal performance of data solutions.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or requirements.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and technical delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data services, data migration, and cloud computing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management or technical delivery, specifically in data analytics services, Legacy data platform migrations, or data lake projects.
• Strong understanding of data architectures, data integration, and data analytics.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience migrating On prem data platforms to Databricks and Snowflake for data engineering and analytics.
• Experience with SAP systems and SAP HANA is a plus.
• Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools (eg, MS Project, Jira).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
