Job Role: Cloud Engineer

Location: Mostly remote, occasional travel to London office

Salary: £58,000

Are you a seasoned Cloud Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in the ever-evolving world of Azure and Cloud technology? We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who is ready to take the reins and make a significant impact in a budding market. This role offers the flexibility of mostly remote work, with occasional visits to our London office.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in configuration, design & support of Microsoft Servers up to 2022. Preferably to vendor accreditation level. VMWare 7 and above virtual infrastructures would be beneficial.
• Thorough understanding of design and operational concepts related to Cloud infrastructures (upgrades, migrations, backup, restore, DR, patching, anti-virus, systems management, monitoring, security and reporting)
• Strong understanding of infrastructure fundamentals: IP services (DNS, DHCP, IPSEC) & networking concepts.
• Knowledge of VPN/LAN/WAN and Cloud networking technologies.
• Accreditation to vendor level for Azure, Microsoft 365 products.
• At least 5 years experience of working in medium to enterprise scale environments working to ITIL, Agile & Prince 2 frameworks.
• Terraform knowledge
• Experience with Windows Active Directory, group policy, Entra ID and Intune configuration preferably experienced with Microsoft 365 Exchange hybrid environments
• Experience in onboarding companies technology processes and policies and migrating them to align with company values
• Proactive, calm & flexible approach.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Have a good knowledge of technical applications and be willing to keep up to date
