Solution Architect - High End Security Clearance

Location: Leeds (Preferred)/London/Manchester - Onsite 4-5 Days Per Week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with active clearance to work on highly secure, mission-critical projects. You will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative, cloud-enabled solutions, ensuring best practices across the full software development life cycle. This is an onsite role, requiring attendance 4-5 days per week at one of our secure locations in Leeds, London, or Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecting and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

• Designing and optimising cloud-based and on-premise solutions to meet business and security needs.

• Working with C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, and related technologies to drive development and automation.

• Managing source control technologies such as Azure DevOps, BitBucket, or GitLab.

• Implementing configuration management and cloud automation tools.

• Applying desired state configuration (DSC) to ensure system consistency.

• Ensuring adherence to professional software engineering standards, including code reviews, testing, build processes, and secure operations.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure-by-design solutions within complex environments.

• Adapting to new technologies and programming languages as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong exposure to cloud technologies (eg, AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments).

• Hands-on experience with C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, and related automation technologies.

• Deep understanding of source control management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.

• Experience with configuration management tools and cloud automation techniques.

• Knowledge of secure coding standards, software development life cycle best practices, and operational security.

• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and evolve with project needs.
