Xpertise Recruitment are currently looking for a contract IT support Team Lead on a contract basis paying £300 per day.

This role is cover for long term illness, and therefore inside IR35. This will be a 6 month initial contract, onsite in Altricham with a leading MSP.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the support function and ensure processes are in place to afford best customer service.
• 1st-2nd Line desktop support
• 1st-2nd Line software support
• First-line infrastructure support, escalating to infrastructure team/external parties as required
• Equipment/asset procurement
• Ensuring sufficient hardware is available
• Liaising with vendors/suppliers
• Ensure correct people, processes and controls are in place to ensure the ongoing quality of service
• Deliver out of hours support for key systems.
• Work with the security team to ensure best practices are followed.
• End user compute projects, upgrades and uplifts
• Ensure staff availability by producing a weekly rota
