Security Cleared Atlassian Support Analyst
We are seeking a customer-focused Atlassian Support Analyst to provide technical support, administration, and guidance for Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing best practice, and assisting teams to maximise their use of Atlassian tools for project management, collaboration, and software development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), resolving technical issues and assisting users.
- Configure, customize, and maintain Atlassian tools to meet business needs.
- Assist in user onboarding, training, and documentation related to Atlassian products.
- Develop and maintain workflows, automation, and integrations with third-party applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Atlassian support when needed.
- Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and software developers to ensure optimal use of Atlassian tools.
- Implement and enforce governance, security policies, and access controls within Atlassian applications.
- Stay up to date with Atlassian product updates, features, and industry best practices.
Experience:
- Proven experience in administering and supporting Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Jira Service Management (JSM) and Jira Software.
- Experience with Jira workflows, automation rules, and Scripting (eg, Groovy, ScriptRunner).
- Knowledge of integrations between Atlassian tools and third-party applications.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to train and support end-users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Experience with cloud and on-premise Atlassian instances is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (eg, Atlassian Certified Professional) are desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Atlassian Access and security best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
The role will be mostly remote with around 20% required on client sites around the UK. The role will fall Inside IR35 and requires all candidates to be sole UK nationals and to have an active SC Clearance. Please do not apply unless you meet these requirements as you will NOT be considered.
