Associate Director - Banking and Financial Services - up to £120k + benefits - London/Hybrid
CONSULTING AND BANKING DOMAIN EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
You will be an experienced and strategic Senior Banking Consultant to lead the consulting team and provide expert guidance to clients in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking operations, financial products, and market trends, along with exceptional leadership and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance client banking operations and profitability.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
- Market Analysis: Monitor economic trends and market changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of banking consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all consulting activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing proposals and pitches to secure new consulting assignments.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including white papers and industry reports.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in the Banking space covering a few departments that may include Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Credit Cards, Payments, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Securities Services, Trade Services, Factoring etc
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking or financial consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or similar are a plus.
