Fraud Operations Investigator - 6-Month Contract

Location: Fully Remote (London)
Contract: 6 months

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Fraud Operations Investigator to join our clients fraud prevention team.

• Fraud Investigations: Analyze fraud cases, detect trends, and escalate issues as needed.

• Process Improvement: Identify procedural gaps and work with cross-functional teams to refine fraud detection and prevention strategies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with analytics, QA, training, knowledge management, compliance, and legal teams on fraud-related initiatives.

• Escalation Support: Assist vendor teams with fraud case escalations and provide expert guidance.

• Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to special fraud-related projects

? Fraud Expertise: Strong understanding of financial fraud, including identity theft, account takeover, and social engineering tactics.
? Investigative Skills: Knowledge of investigative techniques, fraud red flags, and relevant fraud detection tools.
? Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of Reg E and Reg Z regulations.
? Tech Skills (Bonus): SQL experience is a plus, but not required.
