Senior SAST Architect - 6 months - Inside IR35 - London (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAST Architect to manage the migration of our scanning tool from Checkmarx to Veracode. This senior role requires an experienced professional who will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the migration is executed smoothly and the security scanning process is optimised for a leading financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of Checkmarx to Veracode, overseeing all phases of the project from planning to execution.

• Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Conduct due diligence and establish governance mandates to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices.

• Define the scope of the migration project and develop comprehensive process documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and Knowledge Operating Procedures (KOP).

• Work closely with Security Domain and Infrastructure Platform Support teams to manage dependencies and ensure the timely delivery of all in-scope deliverables.

• Provide expert-level support and guidance in the use of SAST tools to enhance application security across the organisation.

What you will ideally bring:

• Extensive experience with SAST tools such as Veracode, Fortify, IBM AppScan, and Checkmarx.

• Strong analysis, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.

• Solid project management experience, particularly in overseeing complex technical migrations.

• Proven ability to define technical requirements and drive the successful implementation of security tools and processes.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months with view for extension

• Location: London (Once/Twice per month in the office)

• Rate: Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)
