My client is a reputable London Market Insurer, and they are looking for a Business Analyst with previous industry experience to join their growing team. The team are friendly and have a collaborative approach they are looking for someone who is friendly, will go that extra mile and will help others.

We are not looking for someone with a 'political agenda' but someone who wants to join a friendly on the 'up swing' team.

This role will suit an experienced Business Analyst with a good understanding of the claims processes and systems as one of the key aims is to improve my clients claims reporting and processes.

Reporting to the Head of Applications, you will be involved in scope definition, estimation, requirements gathering, solution development, functional design, QA & UAT testing, and end-user training on assigned projects.

These projects may include international operations but will primarily cover Claims related projects, but there will also be the requirement to be involved in Underwriting, and Operations for the London Market business.

The candidate needs to be able to bridge the gap between the business, IT and key vendors.

Required education/training/experience

  • 5+ years of business and systems analysis experience.
  • Solid London Insurance market experience.
  • Experienced in analysing data to help confirm and drive requirement and solution analysis.
  • Proven ability to deliver consistently high-quality results.
  • Good documentation capabilities.

Domain Knowledge

  • Solid end-to-end insurance domain knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's and Company processes.
  • Demonstrable ability to fully understand business processes and business needs.
  • Familiarity with Policy Admin Systems/DUA systems/Pricing Tools/SharePoint/Market systems/Document Management.
  • Good understanding of IT solutions and architecture.
  • Knowledge of RPA software.
  • Proficiency with software systems commonly used to manage Programs/Projects (Azure Dev Ops, MS Word, Excel, MS Project
