Senior Service Manager (IT Asset Manager) - Manchester - On-site - Contract Role

Harvey Nash is working with a well known Broadcasting organisation who are looking for a Senior Service Manager (IT Asset Manager) on a 6 month contract. This role will be 5 days a week in their Manchester office. Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.

Role Responsibility
The role is responsible for the life cycle management of IT assets and the operation of key controls in your designated business unit. You will be the escalation point for user's IT problems and issues, which cannot be solved through the standard process. You will ensure compliance with the organisations policy and ensure that exceptions received the appropriate level of authorisation To be accountable for auditing, managing and tracking assets, including the setup of new hardware/software To be responsible for communicating the organisations IT strategy and policy within your business unit. To be the approve for IT spend in your business unit. To manage self-service's solutions including laptop loan lockers and IT vending unit.
