Global logistics client is now searching for a Lead .NET Developer to lead a team of developers and work on innovative internal system development projects.

This role will focus on enhancing our clients cloud security, containerisation technologies and overall software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers and provide guidance/mentoring.
• Design and develop scalable and secure .NET applications.
• Use Docker/Kubernetes to implement containerisation technologies for efficient deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define software requirements.
• Ensure the team comply with cloud security best practices.
• Oversee the full SDLC, from design to deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement across development teams ensuring innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience leading software development teams.
• Extensive commercial experience as a Lead .NET Developer - .NET Core/.NET Framework and C#.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Functions, DevOps etc.)
• Strong experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best principles and practices.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication, leadership and mentorship skills.
• Any UI/UX experience is desirable.

This is a permanent opportunity which provides a base salary of up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits.

In terms of office location, this role is flexible with 1 day per week in our clients Doncaster office and the rest remote.
