We're working with a leading organisation in the hospitality sector who are undertaking a major Jira transformation project. With a backlog of security concerns, inconsistent workflows, and a lack of integration and governance, they're ready to bring in a contract Jira Specialist to lead the overhaul.
What You'll Be Doing:
6-Month Contract
£300-£350/day | Outside IR35
Are you a Jira expert with a passion for optimisation, governance, and delivering high-impact change?
We're working with a leading organisation in the hospitality sector who are undertaking a major Jira transformation project. With a backlog of security concerns, inconsistent workflows, and a lack of integration and governance, they're ready to bring in a contract Jira Specialist to lead the overhaul.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conducting a full audit of the existing Jira instance
- Addressing security issues including SSO, access control, and AD integration
- Standardising workflows, dashboards, and configurations across multiple teams
- Implementing integrations with tools such as ServiceNow to improve automation
- Establishing clear governance frameworks and request processes
- Providing training and documentation to internal volunteer Jira admins
- Defining and delivering reporting dashboards and actionable metrics for leadership
- Proven experience leading Jira clean-ups, audits, or transformations
- Strong understanding of Jira administration, configuration, and best practices
- Experience with security protocols (SSO, access levels, AD integration)
- Comfortable working independently and shaping long-term processes
- Previous exposure to tool integrations (eg, ServiceNow)
- Able to document and transfer knowledge effectively to internal teams
- 6-month contract
- £300-£350 per day (Outside IR35)
- Remote-based, with occasional travel to London or Luton (expenses covered)
