You MUST have the following:

• Experience as a Kubernetes SME/Expert/Engineer
• Multitenanted Kubernetes clusters
• Build, manage, upgrade of Kubernetes clusters
• Experience building Kubernetes capabilities, integrations and security requirements
• Python or Go
• AWS, GCP or Azure

The following is DESIRABLE not essential:

• Helm, Capsule, ECK, Crossplane, Istio
• Kafka, MSK, Atlas, Confluent

Role: Senior Kubernetes Engineer (AWS Python Amazon Web Services DevOps SRE Site Reliability Engineer K8s Go Golang AWS GCP Azure Helm Capsule ECK Crossplane Istio Kafka MSK Atlas Confluent EKS Docker Terraform OpenShift Kubernetes Trading Finance Banking Asset Manager Investment Manager) required by our trading software client in London. You will join a global team of 7 that are focused on a hybrid on-premise and cloud Kubernetes environment. The environment is multitenanted and complex. The team is highly project based as they modernize and containerize the existing VM infrastructure. That said, they tenant 15 clusters already and have 5-6 coming soon. They use Capsule for their multi tenancy. They mostly work with Python but will also accept candidates with Go. For Kubernetes, you will need to be abreast of trends and topics in the open source community. You will have built, managed and upgraded clusters. You will have experience building capabilities, integrations and security requirements.

They offer very flexible hybrid working, with a limited requirement to be in the office.

Salary: £105 -135k + 25% Bonus + 10% Pension
