A highly reputable Energy Trading firm requires an experienced Business Analyst with a good understanding of the commodity trading world and strong core analysis skills to actively participate in delivery of new programmes of work. As a Senior Business Analyst within the team, you will lead in the development of business analysis best practice and mentor other Business Analysts within the IT department.

As part of an overall refresh of its underlying business processes and IT, the client is currently executing a number of projects that involve significant business and technological change. These projects include a mixture of bespoke development and package implementations and require strong business analysis support to ensure success. The team covers activities across the IT life cycle including architecture; project management; business analysis; software design, development and support; infrastructure design; and vendor management.

We require expertise in business process analysis, stakeholder management, and documentation alongside technical requirement gathering, system integration understanding, and solution design collaboration. You will be confident in building relationships with business stakeholders, identify and document business processes, workflows and user journeys and specifically be very familiar with Jira, Confluence, Agile frameworks and show an ability to document API specifications, system interactions and data mappings.
