We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect & Project Manager to lead a strategic data migration and cleansing initiative for a major European logistics organization. This contract role requires a bilingual professional fluent in Spanish and English, with expertise in data architecture, migration strategies, and project management.

The key objective is to cleanse, categorize, and migrate existing data to a new system, ensuring it is structured, searchable, and delivers clear business value and ROI. You will work closely with internal technical experts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Data Cleansing & Migration Strategy

• Lead a full-scale data cleansing process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance before migration.
• Develop a structured roadmap for data migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Define best practices for data categorization, searchability, and usability post-migration.

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee the end-to-end migration process, from data validation to post-migration quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain a migration timeline, milestones, and risk management strategy.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical teams, and data governance policies.
• Manage stakeholders across multiple regions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project deliverables.

Quality Assurance & Business Impact

• Implement data quality testing frameworks to validate categorization, accessibility, and performance post-migration.
• Ensure the new system delivers optimized data searchability and improved operational efficiency.
• Provide insights on ROI and business impact post-migration, ensuring the project meets strategic goals.

Skills & Experience Required

• Fluent in Spanish & English (spoken and written).
• Proven experience as a Data Solutions Architect and Project Manager in data migration projects.
• Strong background in data governance, cleansing, and structuring.
• Experience working with large-scale logistics or supply chain data is highly desirable.
• Expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and system migrations.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices.
• Proficient in SQL, data modelling, and cloud-based data solutions (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with data management tools, analytics platforms, and database systems.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
• Experience with data lakes, warehousing, or ERP migrations.
• Familiarity with logistics, transport, or supply chain operations.
