Location: Southwest England

Hybrid 2-3 days working in the office

Salary - £110,000 to £115,000

Role Overview

Stanton House is working with a large, multinational organisation based in Southwest of England that is seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Global Process Owner for Record-To-Report.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing global record-to-report processes, ensuring efficient financial reporting, compliance, and control activities across the organisation. As an integral part of the finance team, you will influence strategic initiatives by collaborating with key stakeholders to elevate process efficiency and effectiveness on a worldwide scale. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation and aligning global practices to enhance organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the end-to-end Record-To-Report process for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Implementing and refining process improvements for efficient financial closing
  • Fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams for best practice alignment
  • Providing strategic leadership and vision for the global record to report function
  • Continuously evaluating and integrating emerging technologies for process efficiency
  • Establishing and enforcing a strong internal control framework
  • Identifying opportunities for standardization and automation to optimise performance

Experience/Qualifications needed

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Extensive experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity within a global financial environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial systems.
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience implementing best practices in record to report processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
