ServiceNow Engineer - Inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to conduct platform checks, optimise ITSM processes, identify automation opportunities, enhance security and governance, and drive efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities:
Execute technical Platform health check on ServiceNow platform providing observations and a set recommendation for improvement across a number of key areas across the platform to optimise cost and efficiency
Support of the evaluation of alignment between current ITSM process, governance structures and define recommendations for the platform
Evaluate licence consumption and look to optimise and ensure they are being leveraged to their full extent
Help identify automation opportunities with the ServiceNow platform to help enhance efficiency
Look to review the governance and security around the clients user access permissions and RBAC controls
Input as and when required into the contractual and support model review including details around any checks around compliance and regulations
Technical Skillset:
Strong experience with ServiceNow workflows and tools ie Flow Designer/Process Automation Designer
Understanding of customisations versus OOTB customisations and experience with upgrade-safe development practices
Understanding of ServiceNow automation functions (ie. event-based, orchestration)
Experience in designing, building, and optimising a ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring alignment with CSDM where appropriate
Ability to review and optimise Business Rules, UI Policies and Scripting
Knowledge of ServiceNow Integrations
Experience with ServiceNow security (zero trust principles), access controls and audit logging
Certified System Admin (CSA)
