Network Security L2/L3 Administrator

We are looking for experienced Network Security L2 and L3 Administrators for a 6 month contract with possible extension. This customer-facing role requires strong technical expertise and communication skills, working with cutting-edge networking technologies in a dynamic, high-impact environment. The successful candidate will need to be on site 5 days per week.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues (OSI layers 1-7).

• Monitor network performance and respond to incidents.

• Support and manage Cisco WLAN Controllers, SSIDs, and Access Points.

• Implement and troubleshoot Firewalls, VPNs, NAT policies, and security protocols.

• Configure and troubleshoot routing & switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, etc.).

• Maintain LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networks.

• Administer DNS, IPAM, DHCP, and F5 LTM (SSL, iRules, patches).

• Conduct proactive network analysis and apply patches/firmware updates.

• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and manage major incidents.

Must-Have:

• Expertise in F5 LTM, DNS/DHCP, and IPAM.

• Certifications: CCNP, CCSA, F5 Certificate.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Cisco Meraki, AWS Networking, Cisco ISE & Security.

• Knowledge of network monitoring tools like BIG IQ, SolarWinds, and ThousandEyes.

• L2 Admins: On-site 24x7 shift coverage.

• L3 Admins: On-site during UK business hours, on-call (rota) outside business hours.
