Senior Network Engineer - Immediate Start - 12 Month Contract - Watford Office - Hybrid working

My client is a large Watford based company, and they are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team, and assist with their end of life global network replacement project.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will include:

* Completes network Engineering and Administration maintenance tasks and analyzes process for improvement
* Performs medium to high complexity network changes and implementations
* Participates in the network technology design process
* Analyzes potential changes and enhancements to network software and hardware to determine impact on existing production
* Works as a member of a project team on business projects

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:

* Requires in-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices
* Knowledge of a network technology discipline (eg IP Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, SD WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, IP Telephony, Infrastructure)
* Knowledge of data centres (beneficial)
* Knowledge of incident and change management principles and best practices
