Field Test Engineer - Cellular/Modem/Telecoms Contract Role
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to perform field testing on cutting-edge mobile platforms. This contract role offers £350-£400 per day, requiring 3-5 days on-site with travel across various UK cities.
Role Overview:You will execute 5G NSA/SA, IMS, LTE/WCDMA/GSM test suites on live UK networks, working closely with the UK and EU teams. The role involves issue analysis and collaboration on platform verification plans.
The Role:- Execute internal, GCF certification, and Operator Acceptance test suites
- Analyze test findings and report issues
- Work with UK & EU teams on verification projects
The Person:
- Strong background in cellular radio (OEM, chipset, or network vendor experience)
- Proficient in modem logging tools, SW flashing, and calibration tools
- Knowledge of GCF/PTCRB or carrier certification (desirable)
- Adaptable to R&D challenges and changing priorities
Onboarding requires daily office attendance. Travel within the UK is required based on verification plans.
