Conexus is proud to be partnered with a well-known brand as they look to bring on board an experienced Data Governance Lead to play a central role in shaping and delivering a robust data governance and security strategy across the business.

This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives on building structure, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving real change in how data is governed and trusted across complex, multi-regional environments.

What You'll Be Doing.

• Leading the data governance strategy across the organisation, with a strong focus on data quality, consistency, and security.
• Establishing and maintaining a single source of truth to drive confident, data-informed decisions across all levels of the business.
• Building strong partnerships across departments and regions to embed a culture of data ownership and excellence.
• Owning and evolving the data governance framework, ensuring compliance with global data regulations and internal best practices.

What We're Looking For.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Business, etc.)
• 7-10+ years' experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Proven success in designing and implementing enterprise-wide governance programs.
• Hands-on experience with governance and MDM tools like Semarchy, CluedIn, Stibo, SAP MDG, Purview, or Alation.
• Deep understanding of MDM, data lineage, metadata management, data stewardship, and ensuring quality behind transactional data.
• Strong grasp of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and how they influence governance practices.
• Bonus: Experience with ETL processes and database systems.
