Bookkeeper with Xero accounts

Full job description
My client is looking for a part time/freelancing bookkeeper to work alongside with them. You will support the director in carrying out various accounts related works and help them maintain updated bookkeeping.
We are now looking for
Requirements:
- 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experienced user of Xero system, excellent Excel skills would be a plus
- Familiarity with accounting concepts and risks
- Good MS Excel and Xero is a must
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively at all levels across the business, and externally.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping using Xero accounts - bank reconciliation and checking for accuracy.
- Check and review suppliers' invoices and statements.
- Check and manage expenses claims and reimbursements.
- Communicate and liaise with other departments and external accountants.
- Supporting director prepares p&l and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly payroll & NIC (maybe by using Xero).
- Monthly FPS & EPS
- Assist, review and submit VAT return.
- Review and manage four companies' accounts (generated through Xero with 90% of the transactions in one company) for statutory and management information purposes, in particular:
- Submit EIR Report
- FX trading currency transactions
- Support any other relevant work with director
Job Types: part time, Contract or Permanent
Pay: From £17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
