Test/Verification Engineer - Optical Ground station (OGS), Ground Segment, Satellite Communications, ECSS standards

Long term freelance opportunity for a Test/Verification Engineer to join my leading client in the Space/Satellite telecommunication industry. The Test/Verification Engineer will be coming in to support a new project which is developing an Optical Ground station (OGS) network testbed which will enable ground station developers to connect and prototype network aspects for optical and quantum communications.

To be successful in this role, your profile would need to match the below required experience:

• Experience/knowledge with Optical Ground stations
• Experience in the Space/Satellite communication industry, ideally in the Ground segment area
• Knowledge of the ECSS standards (European cooperation for space standardisation)
• Proven experience as a Test/Verification/Validation Engineer within this field

On-site presence will be required at the customers offices in Belgium for this position.
