- Rate: £375 per day (Outside IR35)
- Contract: 3-month rolling contract
- Location: Mainly remote, with some office days required per month
The Role
A leading organisation in the healthcare sector is looking for a Lead Developer to support the development of new and existing software solutions using PHP and Vue.JS. The role requires strong integration experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain PHP applications and Vue.js Front End interfaces
- Optimise and refactor code to improve performance, security, and maintainability
- Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
- Design and implement system integrations for smooth interaction between applications
- Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based systems to meet industry standards
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Provide technical mentorship and foster knowledge-sharing within the team
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in PHP development (minimum 4 years in large-scale projects)
- Strong experience with PHP 8.3+, Vue.js, JavaScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Previous experience in healthcare software development (preferred but not essential)
