Hays Recruitment are working closely with a Newcastle-based organisation to recruit a Software Developer on a temporary basis.

The Role:

Software Developer
Competitive Day Rate
3 months (Initially)
Hybrid In Newcastle

Experience/Qualifications:

• Administration, configuration, patching and maintenance of core database solutions such as Microsoft SQL & Progress OpenEdge
• Provide system development and continuous improvement using Scripting languages, including but not limited to Java and Python
• Relevant system development work experience within both waterfall development and agile development
• ITIL Foundation
• Ability to understand application requirements and turn that into solution design
• System development through configuration and customisation using application life cycle stages
• Provide appropriate guidance in the selection and design of solutions
• Provide input to the systems development manager to continually improve the ICT systems.
