Arco Solutions currently has a direct hire opportunity with a leading electronics technology company in Wichita, KS. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Electrical Engineer to maintain and support our industry-leading products and systems. The Electrical Engineer will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in engineering, implementation, and testing. The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver that is capable of working through technical challenges and employing pragmatic solutions. Job Duties: Responsible for the functional design and development of quality new products within budget, timeline and quality standards. · Supports the design and computer modeling needs to develop bills of materials and perform cost estimating. · Directly involved in the manufacturing and quality control processes of foreign and domestic suppliers. · Develops new processes for cost reduction, cycle reduction and quality improvements. · Assists in the change order process as needed. · Supports the manufacturing, purchasing, sales and marketing of new products. · Utilizes testing methods and failure analysis techniques to determine the technical implications of new technologies. Stays current on Existing and Emergent Technologies. Develops knowledge of electronic hardware trends and their pricing through reading, web searches and component catalogs. Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering from accredited college. · 2 years electrical engineering experience. · Experience with PCB design layout software (Eagle CAD (preferred) / Altium / equivalent). · Experience with analog signals, PWM signals, RF, triacs, MOSFETS, and peripherals with microcontrollers. · Basic knowledge of low voltage power systems (1PH, 50/60Hz 100VAC-240VAC) · Basic knowledge of AC/DC & DC-DC converters. · Create wiring diagrams, interpret and create electrical schematics. · Able to solder / wire / maintain electrical components. Maintain equipment/tools. Preferred: · Experience in NI LabView & Multisim / SPICE or equivalent, circuit design / automation and testing. · Strong background / understanding of MQTT, CoAP, HTTP & Websocket protocols. · Strong background / understanding of Cryptography, Authentication, Non-repudiation, Encryption, Ciphers, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
