Backup & Storage Consultant - Dell PPDM/Dell Data Domain

We have a new, long-term, fully remote contract opportunity for a skilled Backup & Storage Consultant with extensive experience in Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Dell Data Domain, and backup and storage solutions. This position is a collaboration with our global client and is operating on a freelance basis.

In this role, you will provide crucial guidance, support, and expertise for Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations following the completion and implementation of the initial project. The focus will be on helping the team build confidence with the product, supporting daily operational activities, and creating a clear roadmap to identify gaps and define the next steps for efficient product utilisation. You will also assist in facilitating end-user training, testing, and acceptance to ensure a smooth and effective rollout.

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in Dell PPDM (software) and Dell Data Domain (storage), a solid background in backup and storage solutions, eg Dell NetWorker.

Due to the nature of the requirements, you would need to be based on the client site for the majority of the work. Expenses are being covered by the customer.
