System Analyst

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Stirling, is currently looking to recruit a System Analyst for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £400/day (Inside IR35). This role will be remote based.

Responsibilities:

- Be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated reporting applications.

Essential Skills:

- Data Design and Modelling within an Oracle environment to support business requirements.
- Proficiency in taking business requirements and transforming these into a technical solution.
- Proficiency in documenting functional specifications.
- Provide feedback on technical solutions and data models to business analysts and development teams.
- Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.
- Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects including Tables, View, Packages, Triggers and Indexes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of MS DevOps.
