Infrastructure Desktop Support Engineer - Onsite - Oxfordshire

A client of Amass Technology are on the lookout for a Desktop Support Engineer to get involved on a long term engagement with them.

You'll be implementing IT Security solutions for a key end client of theirs. This will include installing, configuring and maintaining the hardware as well as the software systems. You will also be overseeing the troubleshooting technical issues, making sure that the performance and efficiency of desktop, Active Directory & Entra Id systems.

Some other key responsibilities include:

• Building and configuring PCs and Servers.
• Installation of hardware and software.
• Managing on/off prem devices.
• Set up and manage Active Directory accounts.
• Manage and set up the Microsoft 365 and Windows Os.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Infrastructure Desktop Support Engineer.
• Strong experience at managing and configuring Windows Os/Server Os, software applications and hardware components.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune and 365.
• Strong communication skills.

Logistics:

• £250 PER DAY Outside IR35.
• 6-12 month initial contract (Plans to extend)
• Fully onsite in Oxfordshire. (Hybrid or remote will not be considered)
• Must be based within a 30 mile radius of Wantage.
