The Assistant Vice President & Actuary will work within the Major Casualty Actuarial group as part of the Chubb North America Actuarial team. The position will serve as the Lead Actuary for the Construction unit and will report to the Lead Actuary for Major Casualty. It involves managing two direct reports. This position will have responsibility for Construction reporting, planning, profit studies and account pricing. Qualified candidates should be credentialed actuaries with six or more years of experience. Duties & Responsibilities: • Actuarial support for the Construction unit's monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring and reporting of results, including rate, adequacy, and current accident year indications, AvE, aggregate monitoring,. • Actuarial account pricing support for the Construction unit. • Actuarial support for the Construction unit's planning, including detailed trend and portfolio analysis. • Actuarial Pricing support for the Construction unit Reserve reviews including XS of Agg monitor. • Actuarial support for development and maintenance of the Construction unit's pricing systems. • Actuarial support for the Annual Construction unit Profitability Studies. • Actuarial support for the Annual Construction Defect Study. • Work on other projects as requested or identified.
