Murex Specialist

Contract Type: 6-Month Freelance Contract (Market Rate)

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid Working)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Specialist to join our team on a 6-month freelance contract. This role is based in Amsterdam with a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Murex, particularly in supporting and configuring MXML, along with a deep understanding of various asset classes and Back Office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Murex configuration and support with a focus on MXML.

• Work on production support in a DevOps environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

• Support and troubleshoot Back Office operations, including confirmations and settlements processes.

• Ensure smooth integration and maintenance of Murex for various asset classes such as FX, MM, and IRD.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of multiple asset classes (FX, MM, IRD).

• Expertise in Back Office operations, including confirmations and settlements.

• Hands-on experience in MXML configuration and support.

• Willingness to work in a production support/DevOps environment.

• Experience with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with the Collateral Management module in Murex.

• Datamart experience.

• Basic knowledge of Unix Scripting and SQL.
